PRODUCTS DETAILS

Product Feature

  • GM series have pulse waveform output function, compared with high frequency switching power supply, it can obtain higher density deposit layer in electroplating process.
  • In the electroplating system where additives are not allowed or a small amount of additives are allowed, a fine, flat and smooth coating can be obtained by high-frequency pulse power supply electroplating.
  • Fully digital control system equipped with high-precision sensors to ensure the accuracy of current and power.
  • Advanced digital intelligent management system can monitor the power output in real time.
GM series of power supplies can be widely used in hardware electroplating, automobile plate, bathroom treatment, industrial equipment, aluminum foil, consumer electronics and other industries.

Technical Principle

With the increasing complexity, thickness and path density of PCB board, as well as the decreasing aperture and path width, the traditional DC electroplating becomes more and more unsatisfactory, and it is difficult for DC electroplating technology to provide high-speed electroplating and even electroplating distribution for these products. This is mainly concentrated in the central part of the hole, that is, in the field of low current density, which leads to more copper distribution in the edge part of the hole than in the central part of the hole. The positive and negative pulse power supply regulates the aggregation and distribution of copper ions in high and low current densities through the action of pulses.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q What are the primary applications for the GM series power supplies?

The GM series of power supplies is highly versatile and widely utilized in hardware electroplating, automotive plate manufacturing, bathroom treatment, industrial equipment, aluminum foil production, consumer electronics, and various other industrial sectors.

Q How does the pulse waveform output improve the electroplating process?

Compared to standard high-frequency switching power supplies, the GM series' pulse waveform output enables the formation of a higher density deposit layer. This is particularly effective in systems with minimal or no additives, resulting in a significantly finer, flatter, and smoother coating.

Q What control and monitoring features does this system offer?

The GM series features a fully digital control system integrated with high-precision sensors to guarantee exact current and power output. Additionally, its advanced digital intelligent management system allows for real-time monitoring of the power output status.

Q Why is pulse power supply preferred over traditional DC electroplating for modern PCBs?

As PCB boards grow in complexity and density with smaller apertures, traditional DC electroplating struggles to provide even copper distribution, often leaving insufficient copper in the center of the holes. The positive and negative pulse power supply solves this by dynamically regulating the aggregation and distribution of copper ions across both high and low current densities.

Q What types of stable voltage waveforms can the GM series output?

The unit supports a wide array of waveforms to suit different processes, including DC, multi-section curve control, single pulse, DC superposition pulse, double pulse, and positive and negative pulse clusters.

Q What is the output precision and electrical range of the GM series?

The GM series offers an output current range of 0~8000A, an output voltage range of 0~100V, a pulse frequency of 100Hz, and maintains a high output precision of ±1%.
